Empty property or opportunity?

With our longstanding tenant, Swinton Insurance, having not renewed their lease, and faced with an empty property on our books, we decided to take it as an opportunity to re-evaluate the investment. Our MD, Jeff came up with the bright idea of splitting the flat above into 2 one bed units, increasing income and lettable not to mention reducing possible income loss from vacancies. We are also taking this pause in occupancy to properly repair the flat roof at the rear and generally redecorate the premises.
